Join us for the 2017 Creekside Conservancy Celebration

October 14 from 5-8:30 p.m. at Nettles Creek Farm

There will be no better place to enjoy an early fall evening than Nettles Creek Farm on October 14th at the 4th Annual Creekside Conservancy Celebration, hosted by the Historic Virginia Land Conservancy.

Culinary Institute of America (CIA)-trained Chefs Jeffrey and Christie Aczel from Custom Culinary Connections have created a tasty New Orleans-inspired menu that includes roasted oysters, po-boys, creole shrimp and grits, jambalaya and more! Enjoy some excellent wine from the Williamsburg Winery and try out a first-rate selection of Virginia craft beers. As they say in Louisiana, “Hoo-boy, dat goin’ to be some good eatin’!”

No party is complete without praiseworthy live music. Jazzy tunes will be laid down by the Sun Rae Jazz Band, a four-piece ensemble lead by Sharon Rae North. This band prides itself in offering something for everybody so they’ll have your toes tapping in no time.

Nettles Creek Farm, located on Bush Neck Road, is gorgeous during this time of year. You’ll party behind the house with a beautiful site overlooking Nettles Creek, this a rain or shine event. You simply can’t help but have a wonderful time, so invite your family and friends to join you!

Funds raised from the Celebration will help the Historic Virginia Land Conservancy protect more greenspace and maintain the character of our beautiful region.

Special thanks to BB&T WEALTH, Scott and Stringfellow and BB&T Bank for sponsoring the Celebration! These companies are committed to improving our community and we appreciate their willingness to share their resources in support of land conservation efforts that help maintain your quality of life.
