Amy Ahearn
Amy is owner and principal of Decorating Den Interiors, a boutique interior design firm specializing in residential interiors and kitchen design. A designer for over 22 years, Amy began her career in New Jersey before moving to Williamsburg in 2015.
Amy is active in both her industry and community. She has served on the Executive Committee of the National Kitchen & Bath Association’s (NKBA) Northern New Jersey Chapter as VP of Academic Relations and VP of Professional Development.
She currently serves on several boards and committees, including the Editorial Advisory Board of Kitchen & Bath Business (K&BB), a nationally distributed shelter magazine for the Design & Construction industry; LEAD Greater Williamsburg, An Occasion for the Arts (AOFTA), and is finishing her third year at Historic Virginia Land Conservancy.
Amy holds degrees from Montclair State University, Montclair NJ in English; and Brookdale College in Lincroft, NJ in Interior Design.
Amy and her husband Jim love the Williamsburg area, as do their owners, LuLu the Cat and Finan the Terrier.
