The Williamsburg Land Conservancy is changing its name and expanding its reach! It has changed its name to the Historic Virginia Land Conservancy to better reflect its growing influence in Southeastern Virginia. The Conservancy has 35 conservation easements totaling over 6,200 acres throughout the Historic Triangle and are now as far ranging as King William County to the North and Suffolk to the South.
“If we want to work with landowners that are in areas outside of Williamsburg, we needed to have a better identity to showcase that we were not just Williamsburg,” said Executive Director Caren Schumacher.
As part of the rebranding, Howell Creative Group designed a new logo for the conservancy and will help convert the look of the organization’s visual presence over the next several months. Our look may be changing but our mission remains the same: conserving and stewarding our land resources for future generations.
